East Lothian man arrested after haul of 'drugs and weapons' allegedly found in raid
A 34-year-old man has been arrested and charged after officers found an alleged arsenal of weapons inside an East Lothian property.
As well as a stash of weapons, drugs were supposedly recovered, from an address in Tranent.
At 9.40am on Thursday June 2025 26, local community policing officers executed a warrant at the property.
Two stun guns, one air gun, several knives and other weapons, a quantity of street diazepam with an estimated value of £5000, and a sum of cash were allegedly recovered.
The man appeared at court on Friday June 27 and was released on bail.

Sergeant Ryan Gilhooly, said: “Drugs cause misery in our communities, and we are determined to disrupt the supply of illegal substances and trace those involved. We will continue to work tirelessly to tackle the supply of illegal drugs and seize dangerous weapons which can be used for criminal purposes.
