New Edinburgh Scotmid supermarket to open offering 'exciting food-to-go range'
A brand new Scotmid supermarket is set to open its doors in an Edinburgh local community.
The store is set to open in mid-July in Fountainbridge providing 26 new jobs and will be supporting local suppliers.
The shop will include a new food-to-go range with Japanese options and a fresh food selection.
The team said they are looking forward to welcoming customers in the summer.

A Scotmid spokesperson said: “We’re excited to be opening our new store in Fountainbridge in mid-July, bringing innovative products and great service to the local community.
"We’ve created 26 new jobs and are proud to be supporting local suppliers, including Saltire Patisserie, an artisan bakery based in Loanhead.
“The store will also feature a new and exciting food-to-go range with Japanese-inspired options, alongside a fresh food selection tailored to the needs of the area. We look forward to welcoming customers when we open the doors.”
