"Get well soon, Daddy," she affectionately captioned the image posted, showing him grinning despite his predicament and donned in a hospital robe. She even crafted a unique friendship bracelet spelling out 'Get Well Soon' to show her support.
The pair have yet to comment on what led to the former England captain's hospitalisation.
There are recent claims suggesting Sir David had undergone a hush-hush operation to fix a broken wrist from an injury that dates back 22 years to a friendly match against South Africa in 2003. Allegedly, a current x-ray unveiled a screw from the original surgery lodged in his forearm after it did not dissolve as expected.
Following that historical match where he experienced an uncomfortable tumble and was subsequently substituted for and hospitalised early in the second half, it has become clear this incident had long-term ramifications, reports the Mirror.
