Mysteries of the Picts | The Last Pagans of Scotland

The Picts were a group of Celtic-speaking people who lived in what is now eastern and northern Scotland during the Late Iron Age and Early Medieval periods, roughly from AD 300 to 900. They are one of the most mysterious ancient peoples of Britain, largely because they left no written records of their own language (except symbols on stones), and much of what is known about them comes from Roman and later medieval sources.
